The Suttle Crossland Process
Whether you’re seeking answers to your retirement questions, looking to start a family or answer any other financial questions Suttle Crossland can provide the answers through our disciplined, and complimentary planning process.
How can I improve my financial situation?
- Can I retire on time? Can I retire early?
- Am I overspending on taxes?
- Is my portfolio suitable for my situation?
- How can I mitigate the risks to my financial goals?
- Speaking of which, what are my goals?
- Is the advice I’m receiving from another firm good advice?
Answers to these questions (and any others) will be answered through our detailed process. We want you to know how we can help you before you pay for our services. We operate through trust, transparency and provide the answers to your questions from an educational point of view. We want you to know the why to our how.
Step 1
Initial Consultation
30 Minutes
Every journey starts with a single step. This journey starts with a roughly 30 minute phone call to chat about about your expectations, and our capabilities. We want to get an idea of what you’re looking to achieve, your challenges, and your unique situation.
If we mutually decide that we aren’t a good fit, we will introduce you to a firm or resources that may be a better fit.
Step 2
The Analysis
60 Minutes
We review and clarify the information we gathered from you between the last step and this one. We then use our decades of financial planning experience to build your plan in partnership with you, having a detailed discussion about your goals and complete a preliminary review to determine how realistic your goals may be.
Often times, we will answer more urgent questions in this step. Most people don’t wake up one day and decide to start planning. There is normally a trigger event.
Step 3
Plan Delivery and Discussion
90 Minutes
Time to discuss the steps needed to implement the plan. At this point we will have created and built your dashboard and during this step we go on a tour of what will be required to implement the plan. This is also a great opportunity to fine tune our relationship.
This is the step in which we discuss pricing for implementation. For pricing, please see the FAQ section below.
Step 4
Think On It … No Really.
A Few Cups of Joe or Tea
Financial planning is a commitment of time and emotions. A comprehensive financial plan typically takes between 10 and 15 hours to complete implementation over the period of a year. Sometimes the answers you get aren’t the ones you want, sometimes the answers are better than you expect.
Either way, answers in hand, you’ll be ready for whatever challenges started this journey.
Step 5
The Real Work Begins
